Israeli Army – 12-year-old child wounded: Qalqiliya – 17:20, Israeli troops, at the closed eastern entrance to the village of Kafr Qaddoum, firing rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades towards protesters, wounded a child, Ahmed Nasser Shteiwi (aged 12). There were in addition, several tear gas casualties.
Israeli Army stun grenades and tear gas canisters fired at protesters: Hebron – afternoon, Israeli forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards people protesting against a scheme by the Occupation, to displace 14 village and residential communities, south-east of Yatta, in favour of settlement growth.
Occupation settler violence and agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 17:40, Israeli Occupation settlers, in Deir Nidham, assaulted Palestinian farmers and prevented them from reaching village farmland.
Occupation settler agricultural sabotage: Nablus – 11:20, Israeli settler militants invaded Duma village farmland, threatened with seizure by the Occupation, and uprooted recently-planted olive trees.
Occupation settler violence, vandalism and agricultural sabotage: Nablus – 14:00, Israeli settlers invaded Jalloud village farmland, forced a farmer off his land, vandalised a bulldozer and stoned vehicles.
Raid – children terrorised: Ramallah – 19:40, Israeli Occupation forces raided al-Bireh, seizing as well as terrorising for a time, three children: Imad Al-Sakhawi (aged 12), Karam Ashour (aged 15) and Mohammed Al-Azhari (aged 15).
Raid – population-control: Ramallah – 00:40- 01:30, Israeli forces raided the village of Ein Arik and ordered two people to report for interrogation at Israeli Military Intelligence.

UN highlights Israeli war crimes

On 7 June, a report published by the UN, human rights council group declared that: “Ending the continued Israeli occupation and discrimination against Palestinians is essential to stopping the conflict and halting the persistent cycle of violence . . .” Our politicians and the news media should take notice also of the UN Human Rights Commission's warning of a 'culture of impunity' “fuelling instability and protraction of conflict”. Israel benefits from non-recognition of the asymmetrical nature of the conflict and the reality of one immensely militarily-powerful State occupying the land of another people.
