Home invasions – stun grenades and tear gas canisters: Tulkarem – 02:50, Israeli Occupation forces, firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters, raided Tulkarem and invaded two homes.

Home invasions and occupation – 1 wounded: Qalqiliya – 10:35-11:40, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya, invading a number of homes and wounding one resident, Iyad Ishaq Riyad Abu Riash, as well as taking prisoner two others.

Home invasions and occupation: Bethlehem – 18:15-19:30, Israeli troops raided Husan village and searched a home.

Israeli Army assault with stun grenades and tear gas canisters: Jerusalem – 18:30, al-Ram, stun grenades and tear gas canisters fired.

Israeli police and settlers' mosque violation: Jerusalem – 08:00, settler militants, escorted by Israeli police, invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and molested worshippers.

Israeli checkpoint troops – youngster beaten and hospitalised: Jenin – 04:05, Israeli soldiers, at the al-Hamra checkpoint, beat up and hospitalised a 17-year-old youth: Ahed Ahmed Abu Al-Rub.

Occupation settler mosque violation and vandalism: Bethlehem – dawn, Israeli settlers raided the village of Kisan and raised Israeli flags on the roof of the village mosque, after damaging its main entrance.

Raid – population-control: Salfit – 10:40, Israeli Occupation forces raided Kafr al-Dik and issued orders to halt the construction of two houses.

Raid – UN refugee camp – 1 taken prisoner: Hebron – dawn, Israeli forces raided the al-Fawar UN refugee camp, taking prisoner one person.

Raid – 2 taken prisoner: Hebron – dawn, the Israeli Army raided Beit Awa, taking prisoner two people.

Raid – 1 taken prisoner: Hebron – dawn, Israeli troops raided Ithna, taking prisoner one person.

On 19 June, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire on workers making their way to jobs across Israel's West Bank 'separation barrier', south of Qalqiliya, killing Nablus resident Nabil Ahmed Salim Ghanem. The barrier cuts across Palestinian communities and agriculture and has been ruled illegal by the International Court of Justice (ICJ). This month marks the 15th anniversary of the ICJ advisory finding, which was later voted for in the UN General Assembly. The Israeli human rights group, B'Tselem, sums it up as follows: “In constructing the Separation Barrier, Israel broke up contiguous Palestinian urban and rural blocs and severed inter-community ties that had been forged and cemented over the course of many generations; it imposed an arbitrary reconfiguration of space based on settlement boundaries and for the convenience of Israeli security forces.” Read more . . .
